About Boogie
Meet Boogie, an eight-year-old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his sturdy frame, living in Redwood City, CA. His black coat gleams in the sun, and when he's not lounging in the dirt after a playful sprint, he's curled up enjoying a cozy nap. Boogie loves outdoor adventures, whether that's a stroll packed with new smells or some fetch—though he might just let you hold the toy while he chews it. Antlers, dirt patches, and time outside always brighten his day. Boogie recently began working with a trainer and responds to commands like “sit,” “down,” and “stay.” Though he gets along with certain dogs in foster care, his preference is a tranquil home as either the only pet or, ideally, with his best friend Baby—they’d love to get adopted together. Boogie is not suited for homes with cats or young kids. On the health front, he manages skin allergies with regular medicated baths and dermatologist visits, but he’s cooperative and adapts well with caring routines. He will stay with his current family until a good match comes along and is available for long-distance adoption if you can meet him in person. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
