About Brody

Brody grew up on the streets of Houston, but you’d never guess it now. Once a skinny stray, he’s found his stride at a healthy, hearty size. He’s neutered, heartworm negative, and makes himself at home anywhere his person is—especially perched just behind you on the couch, head draped over your shoulder with zero sense of personal space. Living with cats and little dogs in his foster home, Brody gets along famously with both. He adored his pittie foster brother, and while Stoney has moved on to a new home, Brody still keeps the crowd entertained. He greets newcomers with an overexcited paw-hug. He means well, but at his size, watch your footing or be prepared for surprise toppling. Brody free-roams the house, day and night; he's more of a four-legged security system than a fence-jumper. He’s happiest playing fetch, tug of war, or running in the backyard, but he’s polite on a leash and social when meeting other dogs. If you want a loyal companion who never leaves you wondering where he’s gone, Brody brings all the classic pittie affection (and plenty of comic relief). What’s more, he’s a Capricorn—a sign famous for steady devotion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
