About Cowgirl
Cowgirl is a young, energetic Pit Bull Terrier who’s ready to brighten up your world. About 2 years old with a sweet, speckled nose, she’s got a big heart and truly thrives on playtime. Whether it’s running, tumbling, or roughhousing with other dogs, she goes all in—sometimes with more enthusiasm than finesse. She gets along well with dog buddies but needs one who can help her channel her energy and pick up manners along the way. Training is important for Cowgirl right now; she’s smart, motivated, and working on her leash skills and jumping with real progress. Given her bouncy spirit, she isn’t the best match for homes with small children or elderly family members at this time—she could knock someone over by accident. She needs a forever home soon so she can settle in and keep thriving. Cowgirl is currently in a shelter-style foster, but she’ll do best in a home where the fun can be more regular and relaxing. All she really needs is someone ready for an affectionate, joyful companion who loves to keep moving. Bonus: As a March 15th baby, she’s a Pisces, so if you believe in sun signs, expect her to be a loyal and loving sidekick. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Cowgirl, as a Pit Bull Terrier, does well in active homes where she can get daily exercise and plenty of interaction. She'll thrive in a home that can provide structure, playtime, and affection.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Pit Bull Terriers like Cowgirl appreciate a yard to run in, but regular walks and play are most important. She'll need plenty of opportunities to burn off energy both indoors and out.
