Banu, an Anatolian Shepherd, is almost a year old and lives in Alvin, TX. She’s an extra-large, short-coated female who is spayed, vaccinated, and house trained. Her apricot and beige coloring sets her apart, and she's known for her gentle nature and friendly attitude.

About Banu Houston Tx

Banu is a massive, mellow Anatolian Shepherd with a playful streak and a real love for her people. She’s happiest stretched out by the A/C or snoozing on a soft bed, but she also enjoys fresh air and exploring outside. Social with other dogs in shared space, Banu gets along with all respectful dogs but will do best with a similarly giant male companion. Kids are not a problem as long as they know how to interact gently; she’s tolerant with children of all ages. Banu is leash trained, generally easy in public, and responds well to guidance—but she’s big and strong enough that only someone experienced with handling giant breeds should apply. This girl is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and current on all preventatives. She’s house trained, on the quieter side, and enjoys belly rubs and attention but never demands it. Secure fencing and a home with plenty of space are a must (no apartment dwellers or livestock). Ground transport might be possible within 1,000 miles, depending on volunteer drivers and your location. You’ll need a solid vet reference to adopt Banu, so be prepared. Ready for a gentle heavyweight who’s both sharp and soft? Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Banu Houston Tx

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
