Meet Finley! This 2 year old, 35lb doxie mix is ready for his permanent couch to crash on after a nice walk in the park. He was found as a stray in Houston and made his way up North for some better luck! His foster mom says: "Finley is so wonderful. I love how affectionate he is and loving of people. He’ll lay his head on your chest and look at you with such adoration. He’s so sweet and grateful! Finley will make a great dog to come home to on a bad day when you want some unconditional love. He is: A kind and curious boy! Moderate energy. Easily sleeps, but also enjoys a long walk and a little play. LOVES people. Loves adults, kids and new people. Very friendly Shy around other dogs, but not disinterested. Will stop to watch them and slowly approach. Loves guests. He's house trained! He wakes up slowly doesn’t dive out of bed. We go on a walk to the park. We hang out at home and eat breakfast. Exercises includes walking and squirrel chasing! Enjoys being close to people and lots of belly rubs! I think he’d be happy with another dog, but not necessary. Good in an apartment! I think he’d blend into any household. The more people the better though!
