SCOOBERT - 3 years old, house trained, older kids, calm & easy going with other dogs, active & very energetic Scoobert ended up behind bars when his family could no longer care for him. He is active, energetic and loves to play. He loves all kinds of toys and chases tennis balls like a pro. He also is said to be calm and easy going with other dogs. Scoobert is smart and would likely benefit from some daily training to get his mind working along with his body. He takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. Proper introductions are important. Once he knows you, however, you are good. He has shown some guarding tendencies around food. This is a manageable behavior. Just ask for some advice. Some additional facts about our boy... Scoobert is not the best on a leash. Practice could possibly help with this bc I bet he'd be a great jogging partner! He is, on the other hand, used to being able to exercise and run around in a back yard. Scoobert is known to be territorial when people come into his home. He has proven to need a muzzle at vet appointments as he's not too fond of handling by people he doesn't know very well.
