About Jaska
Jaska is a 6-month-old female Husky mix still discovering the world and all it has to offer. She grew up in a hoarding situation where she had little contact with people or typical home life, so she approaches new experiences with some caution. At first, everyday things—like leashes, affection, and unfamiliar places—overwhelmed her. Gradually, she’s learned to trust and her confidence has grown with time and care. Once she feels safe, Jaska’s playful side quickly comes out. She loves running around the yard, playing with dogs, and chasing toys. Other dogs are a big source of comfort, and she lights up when she has canine company. She’ll do best in a patient, calm home that can offer stability, a set routine, and help her keep building confidence. Having another friendly, confident dog at home would help her adjust even faster. Jaska is still shy around strangers but warms up with patience and treats. Her future family should be ready to keep working at her pace and continue guiding her as she grows into the confident companion she’s meant to be. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
