Meet Momma Annie! As of May 22nd, she is still waiting to birth her pups. May 9th - Update on the pregnant momma from Hickman County 🤍 This sweet girl was one of several dogs needing help in Hickman County, TN. Thanks to people working together — and everyone who shared — this very pregnant momma is now safe. When she arrived, she was exhausted, uncomfortable, and absolutely covered in ticks. I spent over an hour pulling ticks off of her — from her body, her ears, everywhere. She was so tired, but so gentle through all of it. It was like she knew we were trying to help. She is very pregnant and could give birth at any time. Tonight, instead of being outside, scared, dirty, and covered in ticks, she is finally resting in a clean, quiet space with a soft bed, food, water, and people watching over her. She is now sleeping comfortably, probably for the first time in a long time. 🤍 This is why rescues working together matters. One momma is safe, but there are still others from this same situation needing rescue. Please keep sharing, keep tagging trusted rescues, and keep helping however you can.
