About Louise
Louise is as playful and joyful as they come, with nothing old-fashioned about her personality despite her classic name. At 6 months old, she is in that sweet spot between puppy energy and learning the joys of lounging—she divides her days between romping, snuggling, and napping, with the occasional long nap stretching into the afternoon. Around 22 pounds now, she’s not expected to get much bigger—maybe topping out at 25 pounds. Louise sleeps soundly through the night (and will let you enjoy your morning coffee in peace). She’s already crate trained and house trained, which is a nice head start. Louise was born deaf, which doesn’t slow her down—in fact, it just makes her better at uninterrupted sleep and keeping close to the people she loves. She’s great at sticking nearby, warms to everyone, and really enjoys both canine and feline company. Kids are a hit with her, too. Her stub tail and pint size just add to the charm, and she travels well by car. Louise is in foster in Williamsburg, NM, and will happily welcome visitors. If you’re looking for a happy, loving companion who quickly feels like family, she will be eager to meet you. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
