About Roxy
Roxy is a 1 1/2-year-old Blue Heeler and Rottweiler mix currently living in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. She splits her time between indoors and outdoors and is fully kennel and house trained. She’s energetic, sharp, and has just begun to discover a love for toys. Leash training is ongoing, and she’s already good at taking cues from her walker without pulling. Roxy can be protective over her food, and she’s just started to learn about playtime beyond the basics. She hasn’t lived with kids or cats, so her reactions there are unknown. She’s especially known for loving snuggles and digs outside when the mood strikes. Roxy isn’t spayed yet. Her family will make sure she’s cared for if placement falls through and can travel up to 150 miles to meet a new family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Questions about Roxy
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Roxy, as a Blue Heeler and Rottweiler mix, typically thrives in homes with room to move—ideally with a yard or access to outdoor space. She needs an environment where she can get both physical and mental stimulation.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Roxy’s breed mix does best with at least a medium-sized yard, as both Australian Cattle Dogs and Rottweilers appreciate the chance to run and explore. Regular outdoor time helps manage her energy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Blue Heeler/Rottweiler mixes like Roxy can be great family dogs if properly socialized, but supervision is wise, especially around young children due to her size and herding instincts.
