Margarita
AvailableMargarita is a three-month-old, female Black Labrador Retriever mix with a short black coat. She’s currently living in Littleton, CO and is expected to grow into a small or medium-sized adult, around 25-40 lbs. Margarita is house trained, not yet spayed, and her vaccinations are up to date. She’s considered special needs due to her need for patient, gradual socialization. You’ll find her full of potential, with a friendly disposition once she settles in.
About Margarita
Margarita rolls into Colorado with big ears and an even bigger personality, despite her tiny size. She came from Puerto Rico with her sisters, surviving the streets as a pup and now learning how to live as part of a family. Her ears can’t decide which way they're going, and her gentle curiosity is always apparent. Margarita takes her time to warm up—it’s not instant, but once she does, she’s incredibly loyal. She thrives with other confident dogs, so a home with canine siblings would be ideal. Margarita would benefit greatly from patient adopters who can let her blossom at her own pace. She loves being outside, is playful, and would make for an adventurous little sidekick down the road. This pup is still young and working on all the basics: leash training, house training, and crate training are ongoing, but she's catching on fast. She gets along with dogs and with slow introductions, should be fine with children and cats. Margarita isn’t yet spayed and is still finishing her vaccines, so she’s available under a Foster-to-Adopt arrangement for now. She’ll likely be a small to medium adult, possibly 25–40 lbs, with a sleek black short coat and those unforgettable ears. Her foster is based in Pueblo, CO, but Margarita is listed in Littleton. If you’re looking to help a shy, grateful puppy grow into her best self, Margarita may be your perfect match. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
