About Martini

Martini came from the streets of Puerto Rico to Colorado and is still learning how good life can be. She’s a three-month-old little Black Labrador mix who’s shy at first but starting to break out of her shell—her foster mom sees progress every day. Martini lights up when she’s with other dogs and would thrive in a home where she has canine company; she loves to tag along after her foster siblings and soaks up everything they do. Even though she’s still young, she already prefers oversized dog beds and playing outside, and she’s showing off her playful side. Martini is working on leash walking, potty training, and crate training—her curiosity and intelligence make her a quick study. Because she’s on the timid end, she needs a patient adopter—a quiet house with other friendly dogs would be ideal to help her confidence grow. She’s not yet spayed and still finishing her puppy vaccinations, so for now she’s available only as a Foster-to-Adopt. Typical of Puerto Rican street dogs, Martini could be a mix of breeds—maybe Labrador, maybe more—but she’s definitely one of a kind. Her foster home is based in Littleton, CO, and she’s ready for someone with a gentle hand to help her blossom. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
