But the SECOND we met him, we knew there was something unbelievably special about this sweet fluffy boy Michael is the gentlest soul. He waddles around with his giant fluffy tail swishing behind him like a big feathery duster and honestly reminds us of a giant lovable Big Bird He has the softest eyes, the sweetest heart, and the kindest demeanor you could ever ask for in a dog. Michael says ABSOLUTELY NOT The second he gets too warm he's looking at you like: “Excuse me... where is my AC and my retirement package?” We lovingly call him an “old Papaw” because even though he's still young, he has the energy of a sweet retired grandpa who just wants snacks, comfort, kindness, and a cool place to nap He can be a little bashful in new situations at first, but with gentle encouragement he settles in beautifully. You can tell somewhere along the way life probably wasn't always kind to him... and that honestly breaks our hearts because he is one of the most beautiful, gentle dogs we have ever been around. The ONLY thing we've noticed is he can do a little grumble around his food if another dog crowds him, but he has never snapped and everyone quickly goes back to minding their business peacefully. Honestly, he just seems to appreciate structure, comfort, and knowing he's safe.
