You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bear came to the shelter as an owner surrender on May 20th. He'll be 2 years old in June and is maybe a mix of poodle, shih tzu, and maybe some bichon. We don't know exactly but her does have a somewhat fluffy and curly coat. Bear is a very loving, playful guy who has been neutered already. We are getting him vet checked and microchipped on May 28th and his fee is $150. Bear will require regular grooming to keep his coat clean and free of matting. He has had some basic training. As a younger dog, he will require regular exercise. He has done well with kids OVER 10 years old and with other smaller dogs. We don't think he would have any issues with cats. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
