Meet Allison! This adorable 3–5 year old Cocker Spaniel is ready to leave her past behind and finally discover what it means to be part of a family. Allison came to us as a breeder release dog, meaning she spent her life living in a kennel and being used only for breeding. Those days are finally over, and now she’s looking ahead to a life filled with love, comfort, and companionship. Unlike many breeder release dogs, Allison has surprised us with how quickly she’s opened up. While she can still be shy at times, she has such a sweet, loving personality and clearly longs for human affection and connection. Allison absolutely adores other dogs and gains so much confidence from having canine companions around her. Because of this, we believe another friendly dog in her forever home would be the perfect fit and help her continue adjusting to home life. She weighs about 15 pounds and has an incredibly gentle, affectionate temperament. Allison is currently working hard on crate training and house training and is eager to learn and please her people. Allison will be fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on vaccines before adoption, and she’ll never have to have another litter again. She’ll also receive a health certificate prior to adoption. We’re unsure how Allison does with cats, as she has never been around them before.
