About Khloe

Khloe is a small, black Cocker Spaniel mix who has seen her fair share of change, but she's ready for stability at last. About 10 years old and weighing around 21 pounds, Khloe came to us last August after spending years bouncing between several homes. Despite this, she remains a cheerful dog and gets along well with other dogs. Khloe has her quirks—she can be anxious and defensive if she feels cornered or restrained, a history that’s made vet visits and grooming challenging. Recent visits under sedation have made it easier for her to wear a harness and enjoy her walks, which she absolutely loves. In a calmer environment, Khloe has shown she’s capable of deep trust and affection—she’ll even flop over for belly rubs once you’re in her circle. She needs a patient, understanding adopter who recognizes she’ll require time and space to decompress and open up at her own pace. Khloe is not suited to homes with children or lots of visitors. Her bloodwork and dental health look good, and she is spayed and fully up-to-date on shots. If you can give a predictable, quiet home, she just might amaze you. They are waiting with paws crossed!
