Elsa has seen far more than her share of hardship for only being about 1 1/2 years old. Weighing in as a large, short-haired Puggle with yellow, tan, blond, and fawn coloring, she was found surviving a brutal Louisiana winter under a house while caring for her newborn puppies. Thanks to her grit and determination, all her babies made it out alive. Now that her pups are starting new lives, Elsa is looking for a family willing to give her all the care she deserves. She’s a bit shy around new people, but once Elsa sees she’s safe, she comes around and becomes quite affectionate. She never objects to a soft blanket, a cozy bed, or a gentle routine. Elsa gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company. After everything she’s been through, she’s earned some extra patience as she adjusts to a home full of gentle hands and warm hearts. Born January 22, Elsa is an Aquarius, known for their quirky, loyal spirit and strong sense of independence. She’s never been house trained, but she’s smart and could learn with a bit of guidance.
