About Mirabel
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Mirabel may share a name with a Disney star, but she truly shines with her own special light. This lovely 2.5-year-old girl has a striking short white coat with just the right touch of brown, the brightest golden eyes, and the most delightfully expressive ears—sometimes even pointing in opposite directions, which everyone finds absolutely adorable! Fully vetted and up to date on all vaccinations, Mirabel is ready for her forever home. Her affectionate nature is matched by a playful love for life and great rapport with other dogs. Mirabel is especially unique because she is deaf, though she doesn’t feel she’s missing out—she knows no other way! Deaf dogs form an incredible bond with their people, aren't frightened by fireworks or storms, and Mirabel’s foster and the rescue are experienced with deaf dogs if you have any questions. Just add bells to her collar so you always know where this 52-pound, lean, stocky sweetheart is! Mirabel’s rescue journey wasn’t easy. She came from a difficult background, pregnant and abandoned in a high-intake shelter where chances for terrier mixes are slim. Despite these odds, Mirabel and her babies were saved by a team who saw the beautiful spirit in her eyes. After raising her litter and faithfully completing heartworm treatment, Mirabel is finally ready for her own loving family. Now, she’s eager to be cherished for her loyal heart and dazzling looks. She can’t wait to meet you and begin her happily-ever-after! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
