About Ben
Ben is all about the game—if you’re holding a ball, you already have his full attention. This Catahoula-Cur mix (with a dash of Basenji for good measure) was pulled from a tough spot at a kill shelter, and it shows just how much he appreciates every chance to run, fetch, and live life. He spends his days with a caring foster mom, getting plenty of fetch sessions and hanging out with the neighborhood children. He’s about 50 pounds and has already had all his veterinary work done; vaccinations are up to date, neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and on flea/tick prevention. Ben is eager, affectionate, and ready for someone who’ll keep him active and let him be part of the family. He’s not just a playful dog—he’s welcoming with kids and gets along with other dogs and even cats. It’s pretty clear: Ben’s happiest when he’s included, moving, and loved by his people. Give him what he craves most—a family who matches his energy and wants a real companion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
