About Bruno man

Bruno Man is a striking, 2.5-year-old German Shepherd mix whose life changed after being rescued from neglect. His animal control officer fostered him, and he's flourished with care and structure. Bruno is crate trained, house trained, and quiet in his kennel. He knows several commands—Sit, Stay, Down, Place—and like any driven shepherd, he’s happiest when his mind gets a workout. Bruno thrives with an experienced handler; he’s in sync with his person and needs confident leadership to keep him calm. Otherwise, his reactive side tends to surface on walks. He shares his foster home with other dogs, a cat, and sheep and does well, though he’s shown some mild food guarding with dogs—easily handled by feeding separately. He can live with dog-savvy cats but will chase ones that run. Bruno meets new people easily during walks but warms up best with calm introductions; older kids (16+) are a better fit since he does best with mindful interactions. Once comfortable, he’s affectionate and eager for attention. Happy on long walks and hikes, Bruno wears a training collar and enjoys staying active. He’s up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. Click apply to start the adoption process.
