About Dakota
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Dakota is a stunning, energetic girl full of spirit and loyalty, seeking a patient, loving home ready to help her build trust at her own pace. At first, Dakota can be a little fearful of new experiences, but once she connects with her person, she becomes a devoted companion for life. Her ideal adopter will appreciate her need for a gentle introduction to the world and will provide the time and guidance she needs to continue blossoming. Dakota is crate-trained and does best with slow, thoughtful introductions to other dogs, as she can be selective and sometimes leash-reactive due to fear. With proper confidence-building and ongoing training, she will flourish. Dakota needs a fenced yard to safely expend her impressive energy, and because of her cautious side, she’s best suited for a family with teenagers or older children who understand how to respect her space and boundaries. She is not house trained yet, so continued guidance will help her adjust to home life. Earning Dakota’s trust is truly special—her love is lifelong and steadfast. Fun fact: Dakota was born on November 29th, making her a Sagittarius—perfect for a brave explorer learning to embrace new adventures! Greenmore Farm Animal Rescue is caring for Dakota, and their team is eager to introduce you to this loyal companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
