She wants to be right in the action, whether that means joining you on a hike, learning a new trick, or simply being included in your day-to-day activities. June bonds deeply, offers affection freely, and lights up when she has something to do or someone to work with. She’s still young and full of curiosity—each day brings new adventures and learning as she figures out her place in the world. After being lovingly surrendered due to family medical concerns, June landed in foster care and has continued to thrive alongside other dogs. She enjoys canine company and would love an active dog friend at home. June also genuinely likes people and gets along well with children. While she's steadily improving around cats, she's looking for a home where her natural intelligence and energy can be channeled into training, exercise, and engagement. Activities like scent work, enrichment play, and structured adventures really bring out her best qualities. She does well in her crate and has picked up good house manners. With her drive and athleticism, June could also become an ideal bird dog or sport partner for a dedicated handler.
