About Dezy
Dezy is searching for a quiet, supportive home where she can truly relax and let her playful boxer personality shine. She was found wandering the Deschutes River Recreation Area after being abandoned, in rough shape from weeks outdoors, but since arriving at the rescue, she’s gotten the care and attention she needed. Dezy is still shy and easily startled by new experiences, so she’ll need someone patient who can introduce her gently to the routines of home life. She is loving to people but feels overwhelmed with too much activity, so a calm, steady environment is key. Dezy shows friendly interest in other dogs when meeting through fences and seems open to eventual canine friendships. She has not yet learned all the basics, like how to enjoy walks, but with consistent guidance and trust, she’ll adjust and flourish. For now, she’s not house trained and will need support learning those household manners.
