Meet Cocoa! Cocoa came to CCHS as a stray after being found running on Highway 95 in the Town of Pine Valley. Cocoa is a Lab mix with a short-haired chocolate brown coat. He is a year old and weighs 50.4#. Cocoa is described by CCHS staff as being a gentle soul. He can be a little shy, but he's a really nice boy if you give him a little time to get to know you. Cocoa will do best in a calm home where he won't be overwhelmed with too much going on. With any dog, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
