About Laura

Meet Laura! Laura came to CCHS from a local farm earlier in May. Laura is a young girl, just 6 months old (estimated date of birth 11/11/25) and she weighs 33.1 #. Laura is quite the looker! She is so very pretty with her fluffy soft coat that is black and tan. Did you happen to notice her ears in her pictures? They are sure to get your attention! Laura is a friendly but a little shy due to all the changes she has experienced lately. She walks well on a leash and enjoys attention and lots of petting. She will be a great addition to her new family! With any dog, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. Apply for Laura today! Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can click on "More About Us" to the right and then click on "Adoption Application" button which will take you to our website where you can actually apply. You can also go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you! Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $350. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
