Meet Nigel! Nigel came to CCHS with his 5 siblings towards the very beginning of May from a local farm. They were all named after characters from the movie The Devil Wears Prada! This adorable Heeler mix is about 9 weeks old (estimated Date of Birth 3/13/26) and weighs roughly 11.3# currently. Nigel is a handsome devil with a friendly personality. He certainly isn't at all concerned about high fashion! He's playful and happy and ready for a fresh start with his new family anytime. Nigel would benefit from an experienced Heeler owner, as he has all kinds of Heeler wit to him! With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. The adoption fee is $400. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
