Jessica is a stunning, black and white Great Dane born January 7, 2025 . She’s recently been welcomed by CSDR to help her family find her a best suited forever home. Jessica will be looking for an active family ready to provide clear leadership and continued training in exchange for a loyal, giant adventure buddy. Originally purchased alongside her sister in early 2025, Jessica later joined a blended household with two other large dogs. Having personally worked with Jessica and recently hosting her for a week-long board & train, it became clear that away from her siblings, in a structured and well-managed environment, she thrives, engaged, responsive, and eager to learn alongside canine classmates. She currently “goes to work” with her dad in his home office, where she settles beautifully. When on her own or with a couple of well-matched canine friends, Jessica is consistently bright, affectionate, and loyal. After exhausting all options, it’s been collectively decided that Jessica would do best in a home with more time and space to help her continue growing her true potential. Her family is graciously fostering her during this transition, but this is temporary, her presence requires ongoing management with 3 other large dogs, leaving both Jessica and her housemates in limbo. The Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue adoption donation is $620.00. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $75.00. Adopter will pay actual cost.)
