About Sandi

Looking for a loyal little best friend? Meet Sandi, a one-year-old female Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and so much love to give. When Sandi first came to us, she was terrified -- shaking, frozen, and unsure of the world around her. With patience, kindness, and time, she slowly learned that she was safe. Because of this, Sandi needs a calm, patient adopter who will allow her to adjust at her own pace and come to them on her terms. For that reason, she would do best in an adult-only home or one without young children. Once Sandi feels comfortable, her sweet personality truly shines. She loves giving kisses, snuggling beside her person, and being the ultimate lap dog. If you get up, she may wander off for a moment -- but the second you sit back down, she'll be right there by your side. Sandi also enjoys going for walks and has a funny little habit of chasing bunny rabbits whenever she spots one. She also loves to play with toys. She gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion for someone willing to give her the time and understanding she deserves. She is getting a little spunky. Earn Sandi's trust, and you'll have a devoted best friend for life.
