Meet Penny ❤️🐾 Penny is an 11-year-old Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix weighing about 40 pounds, and she still has plenty of pep in her little step! This sweet senior girl came to the shelter on April 17, 2026, as an owner surrender and is now looking for a fresh start and a family to call her own. According to her previous owner, Penny is good with kids, dogs, and cats, and she is also housebroken. Penny has also been spayed. Since arriving at the shelter, she has been nothing but calm, sweet, and easygoing with the staff. Do not let her age fool you either. Penny still enjoys exploring, staying involved in the action, and soaking up attention from her people. She has the gentle charm senior dog lovers know and adore, while still having enough personality and energy to keep life interesting. Penny is also quite the world traveler and has even been all the way to Australia! 🌎✈️ We are calling all senior dog lovers to come meet Penny and learn more about her.
