About Creek
Creek is a medium-sized Shepherd/Collie mix with a gentle, affectionate streak. At about a year old and around 35 lbs, she still has plenty of puppy energy and enthusiasm for life. Creek is house trained, using the doggie door consistently and never having accidents indoors. At night, she’s content to sleep quietly in her crate, though she’d rather curl up beside her person. She’s sweet and loves companionship but isn’t clingy, going off to play with other dogs outside or hanging by your side when given the chance. She knows basic commands like Sit and Touch, and leash manners are coming along with more practice. Creek gets along well with other dogs and could happily coexist with another canine or as a solo companion. She hasn’t lived with cats or children yet, but shows promise with older kids. Because she’s still learning not to jump up, she may need a bit more training before being around toddlers. She isn’t suited for long hours left alone—she thrives when her person is nearby. Car rides are tough for her due to carsickness, so she’s happiest on her home turf. Creek is a lovable young dog looking for a steady, active family. Make her wait for a home a short one.
