About Eugene
Eugene is a one-year-old orange tabby with a huge purr and an even bigger personality. This talkative cat likes to be involved in your daily life and adapts quickly to household routines—especially meal and bedtime. Expect him to greet you in the morning with a request for lap time and cuddles. Eugene will nap contentedly on you, purring away without a care. He's an expert biscuit maker and, in a unique twist, enjoys chewing on a blanket while kneading. Cat trees and sunny windows hold a special place in his heart, and he’ll happily spend afternoons observing the world outside. Eugene prefers a home where people understand cat signals and will give him a heads up before sudden moves or pick-ups. He may nip or swat if startled, so he needs folks who respect boundaries but can also appreciate his affectionate side. He’s clever, curious, and likely to bolt for an open door—so anyone taking him home should be ready to keep a close watch. In return, Eugene offers friendly chatter, companionship, and plenty of warm lap naps. He currently hangs out at adoption events in Verona, WI, ready to meet the right person who understands his quirks and offers a patient, loving home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
