About Melba

Melba is a lovely brown tabby with a unique touch—her sweet face is enhanced by soft chocolate brown on her feet, distinguishing her even more. This former farm cat has wholeheartedly embraced life indoors. Each day seems to reaffirm for her just how wonderful life can be. If you’re searching for a companion who will insist on affection, Melba is your match. She’ll happily chat, rub against your legs, and gently head butt your hand, all while waiting for the attention she craves. Once you start petting her, you’ll quickly see how affectionate she truly is. Even without teeth, her appetite is commendable. After a complete dental procedure, she’s happily toothless but never misses a meal. Melba is also undergoing treatment for pillow foot and takes her medication mixed into her canned food like a pro. Leaving her farm days behind, Melba is eager for a future filled with cozy beds, caring people, and plenty of love. She has an abundance of affection to share and is ready to show her forever family just how grateful she can be. Melba attends adoption events at our Verona Adoption Center on Saturdays and Sundays, ready to meet her new family. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
