Meet Gus — a gorgeous longhaired grey-and-white gentleman with a fluffy coat, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. This friendly boy is the kind of cat who wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. If you’ve been sitting too long without acknowledging him, Gus will politely remind you with a little paw tap and a chatty request for attention. He believes people exist for cuddles, conversation, and distributing wet food treats. Gus is wonderfully easygoing and settles into most situations with ease. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, finding cozy spots to supervise the household, and making biscuits whenever he’s feeling happy and comfortable — which is often. He’s affectionate without being demanding and always open to a good cuddle session. After being raised as an indoor cat, Gus was sadly put outside last fall when his family got a puppy. He’s very happy to be back inside where he belongs and is currently working on gaining back some much-needed weight. Despite the upheaval, Gus has remained incredibly sweet and trusting. The good news? Gus gets along beautifully with just about everyone — dogs, cats, and kids included. He’s the total package: handsome, friendly, adaptable, affectionate, and full of charm. All he needs now is a family who will keep him safe indoors forever and remind him every day that he’s home for good.
