Hello, my name is: Bloom Approx. DOB: 02/01/2021 Weight: 13 lbs Sex/Breed: Spayed female Havanese Rescued From: Breeding kennel Bloom is still dipping her toes into life as a pet. She spent the first 5 years of her life at a breeding kennel, so being in a home is a brand new experience. She is still nervous when she is approached and is wary of being handled. However, she does enjoy a gentle pet and is following her foster mom around the yard. We are still getting to know Bloom – her walls have yet to come down. At this time, we feel she’d do best in a quieter home with another dog to show her the ropes. Having a fenced area for potty training will also be helpful. Bloom will need someone who will give her the time and space she needs to feel safe. We’ve already seen glimpses of the sweet companion she’s meant to be – her adorable little smile and tail wags are an immediate tell.
