Meet Amber — a gentle young pup with a shy heart and so much potential waiting to bloom. 💛 At only around 6 months old, Amber is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She is very reserved when first meeting new people and situations, and will need a patient, understanding home willing to let her move at her own pace. With yummy treats, kindness, consistency, and a calm environment, Amber slowly begins to open up and show her sweet personality. Watching her gain confidence and learn to trust is incredibly rewarding, and she’s looking for someone willing to give her the time and compassion she deserves. 🐾 Since she’s still just a puppy, Amber will also need continued work on all the basic puppy skills including potty training, leash walking, crate training, and learning household routines. She may start off timid, but with love and guidance, this sweet girl has all the potential to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. -Around 6 months old -Currently under 30lbs -Good with dogs -Adoption fee: $300 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
