Meet ✨Darla✨ — a sweet, playful young pup who is ready to find a forever family to grow up with! At around 6 months old, Darla is full of puppy curiosity, goofy moments, and lots of love to give. She’s still learning all about the world around her and is looking for a home that’s ready to help guide her through all the important puppy stages with patience, consistency, and kindness. Darla is a smart girl who enjoys attention, learning new things, and spending time with her people. Like most puppies her age, she will need continued work with basic manners, training, and socialization to help her build confidence and become the best companion she can be. She’s at the perfect age to continue learning and soaking everything up like a sponge! She would thrive in a home that understands puppies require structure, routine, and positive outlets for their energy. Whether it’s training sessions with yummy treats, fun walks, enrichment activities, or cuddle time after a busy day, Darla is ready to be included in all of life’s adventures. She has so much potential and is just waiting for the right people to help her continue blossoming. She’s ready to start the next chapter of her life — all she needs now is a family to call her own. ✨ -Around 6 months old -Currently under 35lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $225 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
