Tchotchke
AvailableTchotchke lives in Ringoes, NJ and is a neutered male adult with a mix of domestic long and short hair breeds. He is medium-sized and fully house trained. While he isn’t looking for attention from people, Tchotchke thrives with other cats and needs a calm, understanding environment.
About Tchotchke
Tchotchke is still figuring out what it means to trust people. He spent his early life in a cat colony with little human contact, and even after overcoming a serious health scare—a large cancerous mass that’s since been removed—he’s not eager to have people in his space. Instead, he’s the type to keep his distance, finding comfort in quiet humans who give him room and plenty of understanding. He doesn’t seek affection from people, but Tchotchke really comes alive around other cats. You’ll often find him tucked in with his feline friends, preferring their company over ours. He needs a calm, low-traffic home with friendly cats and a caretaker willing to let him be himself, even if that means he chooses never to warm up to people completely. Tchotchke may never turn into the classic lap cat, but he still deserves a peaceful place to enjoy his senior years. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
