Izzy is a senior domestic long hair cat who has been spayed and is fully vaccinated. She is currently cared for at CompAnimals Pet Rescue, and although her exact weight is not listed, she is considered medium-sized. She is house trained and has special needs due to her declawed paws and arthritis, which require the use of soft litter. Izzy does best as the only pet in a home, both with cats and dogs.

About Izzy

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Izzy is an 11-year-old long-haired kitty who was surrendered after experiencing litter box issues that her former family could no longer manage. After arriving at the rescue, Izzy was understandably withdrawn until a dedicated foster provided her with a safe and calming sanctuary. Veterinary exams found her health to be stable, and, by eliminating other causes, it was discovered that painful, declawed paws and arthritis were the likely culprits for her accidents. With the introduction of soft litter and medication for pain, Izzy has returned to perfect litter box habits and now enjoys extra treats for her success! Shy by nature, Izzy thrives in a quiet home and would make an ideal companion for someone who spends much of their day at home. Her story is a testament to the care and patience she deserves—if you're willing to give a loving, declawed senior girl the special TLC she needs, Izzy is ready to leave her past behind and become your devoted companion. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
