About Grayson
Meet Grayson. Underneath his thick, cloud-soft fur and piercing gaze is a shy spirit who took some time to feel safe. When he first landed in foster care, Grayson hid away for weeks. Even the most hopeful promises of his friendliness seemed far-fetched, especially when it took a trap just to bring him out into the open. But something shifted—once he realized he was safe, he surprised everyone. He leaned in for gentle pets and rolled over, as if to say, 'I'll give this a shot.' With a fresh start, a calm room, and nowhere to disappear, Grayson started to greet his foster with slow blinks and, within days, threw himself into affection. Now, he’s all about love when he trusts you—sweet, gentle, and endlessly rewarding. He needs someone willing to start him in a quiet space and let him set the pace. Another easygoing, cat-friendly cat is a must, and it’s likely he’ll get along with dogs, too. Grayson belongs in a patient, adult-only home that moves at his speed. He’s fully vetted and worth the wait for the right adopter. For those willing to invest time, Grayson will offer something few cats do—a real bond that feels hard-won and priceless.
