Thor is a big, smart boy who clearly enjoys being close to his people and figuring out the world around him. Staff have described him as sweet, loving, easy to handle outside of the kennel environment, and eager to please. He walks well on leash, rides nicely in the car, and has shown that once he is away from the noise and stimulation of the kennel, he can settle in and focus on the person with him. There is something especially endearing about dogs like Thor who act tough behind the kennel door but reveal a softer, thoughtful side once given space to breathe. Thor would likely do best with someone who understands that shelter stress can make some dogs feel overwhelmed and reactive around barriers or high-traffic environments. Outside of that chaos, he has shown himself to be affectionate, responsive, and very trainable. He seems like the kind of dog who would thrive with structure, clear guidance, and a person willing to build a strong bond with him.
