Cookie came to us as part of a shelter swap from a neighboring county, a program designed to help dogs gain exposure to new adopters and increase their chances at finding a home. Although we didn’t intend to put this adorable 1-year-old to work, we quickly realized she has a special skill — she is an excellent greeter dog. She now serves as our official greeter dog when needed, which says a lot about this sweet, submissive, and social girl. She walks well on a leash, loves playtime, has impressive zoomie skills, enjoys belly rubs, knows “sit,” has great energy, and loves attention.
