About Madea
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Madea is back with us after initially being adopted in 2026, and this time sheās looking for nothing less than a true forever home. After being found as a stray, searching for comfort and food on a caring personās porch, Madeaās journey has shown just how resilient and hopeful she is. Her previous family could not be reached, but this loving pup hasnāt given up on finding her place. Now available for adoption, Madea is an adorable bundle of sass weighing 58.60 pounds and is truly the life of the party. She absolutely adores treats and has shown she plays well with other dogs in group settings. Stability, companionship, and love are at the top of her wishlist for her new beginning. If you can offer Madea the kind of home she deserves, donāt hesitate to come meet her in person at the shelter. The team recommends meet-and-greets with current dogs and children to ensure everyone gets along well. All adoptable dogs and puppies at this shelter are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on appropriate vaccines and preventatives. After adoption, continued veterinary care is encouraged to help your new family member thrive. Remember the 3-3-3 Rule: it may take three days to decompress, three weeks for routines to settle, and three months to truly feel at home. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
