Meet Apollo — the fluffy little sidekick you didn’t know you needed! At just about 4 months old (born around the beginning Feb) and around 25 pounds, Apollo is equal parts adorable, playful, and full of personality. With his soft long-haired coat, goofy puppy energy, and loyal “shadow” tendencies, he’s already proving he’s the total package. Apollo absolutely loves people and is happiest when he’s near his humans, whether that means following you from room to room, supervising your daily chores, or curling up nearby after playtime. He’s also having a blast with his foster dog siblings and would love a home with playful canine friends — though he’d likely do just fine soaking up all the attention himself, too! He lives in with a 5 year old child! Like any growing puppy, Apollo is still learning the ropes. He’s doing wonderfully with potty training, though he occasionally has a puppy accident here and there. He does great in his crate during mealtime, overnight, and while his humans are away. Bonus: this boy is VERY food motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding because he’s eager to learn and please. Apollo still has those classic puppy moments where excitement turns into a little mouthing, but he’s already making great progress and improving every day. With continued consistency, patience, and plenty of toys, he’s going to grow into an amazing companion. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
