About Marla
Start your journey together! Apply now. Marla, born in April 2018, is a beautiful German Shepherd seeking a devoted and understanding owner. Her shy and anxious nature means she will thrive in a patient, structured environment, where routine and positive training can help her overcome her fears and blossom into a wonderful companion. Marla prefers to be the only star in her household, but with careful introductions, she may adjust to living with another dog. Due to her anxiety, a child-free home is best, as energetic children and dogs can overwhelm her. A secure 6-foot fence is a must, as Marla is known to jump lower ones with ease. Potential adopters should be ready for multiple visits to allow Marla time to get comfortable. She will need a family dedicated to her ongoing training and emotional well-being. Adoptions are limited to the Omaha/Council Bluffs region (within 50 miles) so that Marla can benefit from free professional positive reinforcement training. All meetings and adoption procedures will be in person, ensuring the best match for Marla and her future family. A fun fact: As a Taurus, Marla is known for her loyalty and determination—qualities that will surely shine in a loving home! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
