About Marco
Marco is a goofy, lovable Pittie mix looking for his next adventure. He’s big on personality and muscle—he’s a classic house hippo with a sweet grin who charms everyone around him. Marco’s perfect day includes a morning run, a stop for coffee at a dog-friendly shop, and meeting new friends. He’s happiest around people of all ages and especially gentle with kids. This happy guy is house trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands like "sit." Marco gets along well with other medium and larger dogs and thrives on affection, belly rubs, and snuggles. Treats are his love language, and he’s eager to please. He plays well but, due to some history of going without, can be protective of his food and eats separately from his foster siblings. In his foster home in Plano, TX, Marco is playful, affectionate, and calm when crated. His shiny short black coat highlights his expressive face, and beneath it all, he’s eager to find a loving family who’ll give him gentleness and care. Marco is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm prevention. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
