About Skylar
Skylar is a 2-year-old with a steady smile and a naturally cheerful way about her that draws people in fast. She has the look and spirit of a Husky mix, but she isnât as vocal as someâshe keeps her talking to a few joyful outbursts here and there and shows her true colors by being sweet-natured and very well-mannered. Her coat is plush, and that matches her gentle personality. Sheâs young and active, happiest outdoors where she can go for a run or play fetch. She does well on the leash overall, but sometimes the energy gets the better of her and sheâll pull toward a tempting scent or interesting distraction; regular walks and structure will help keep her on track. Skylar is curious about other dogs and looks eager to play, though she hasnât had close introductions yet. Cats are still a question mark. Because sheâs lively and still learning, a home with children over age 10 would likely be best. At the rescue, Skylar is tidyâher kennel is always spotless, which bodes well for house training success. Like most rescues, sheâll need a little time to learn your routine and how to let you know she needs to go out, but she seems quick and eager to please. If youâre after a sweet, energetic companion whoâll join you on walks, bring a playful energy, and wind down with you after a day outside, Skylar just might be the one. Ready to fall in love?
