Rhea is around a year old, weighs about 35 lbs, and somehow looks like she walked straight out of a luxury dog perfume advertisement while simultaneously having absolutely no idea what she’s doing half the time. She didn’t have the easiest start to life and spent much of it living outside with a breeder who called her a Border Collie/Poodle mix… which respectfully, we cannot confirm. What we can confirm is that Rhea is stunning. She has impossibly long supermodel legs, soulful eyes, and the kind of elegant look that makes people stop mid-sentence when they see her. But once she settles in and lets her personality shine? She’s silly. Like genuinely goofy, lovable, awkward-girl-at-a-party energy. The kind of dog who looks graceful while standing still and then immediately trips over her own legs running toward you because she’s so excited to say hello. Rhea gets along with other dogs, loves affection, and is looking for someone patient enough to let her bloom into the happy, loved dog she was always meant to be. Underneath all that beauty is just a sweet girl who wants to feel safe, adored, and included. Honestly, she feels less like a dog and more like a Disney heroine who got turned into a puppy by a mildly distracted wizard. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date.
