Butterbean is a sweet, silly girl that is about 5 months old and currently weighs about 38 lbs. We think she will be a medium sized adult, although her legs are currently suggesting she may have briefly considered becoming a low rider and then changed her mind halfway through. Butterbean is dog friendly, super cute, and impossible not to love. She has the happiest little face, the goofiest puppy energy, and a body plan that feels like it was designed by someone who said, "Let's make her adorable, but also a little ridiculous." Mission accomplished! She is playful, friendly, and has those wonderfully mismatched puppy proportions that make her look like she's about to grow into herself or maybe, just stay perfectly funny forever. Either way, we support her journey! Butterbean is looking for a family who will love her sweet personality, celebrate her comedic legs, and understand that a dog this cute should probably come with a warning label: "may cause excessive smiling." HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Tuesday 2-6pm, Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://tinyurl.com/4yy3nz2d - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date.
