Meet Kahil!! This 4 year old, 35lb cutie is ready to find his forever family after being found as a stray in TX. He's truly as good as it gets. He is the most adaptable, loving and wonderful dog as described by EVERYONE who meets him!!! His foster mom says for him: "Hi I’m Kahil! I’m 4 years old and the best boy ever. My foster parents cannot believe how gentle and well behaved I am. Moving to midtown Manhattan was a big change from Texas, but I am so brave walking the busy sidewalks, sniffing everything I see, and saying hi to people passing by. I am so quiet and so clean. Even when people come over, I never bark or jump on them! I patiently wait my turn to say hello! When I’m at home I’m almost like a cat. I love to be near you but I don’t need constant attention although I love snuggling when my humans are relaxed on the couch. I love to pick one toy and snuggle it in my crate. I love to sleep upside down and my foster mom thinks it’s really cute. I am so patient and love sleeping in my crate while my humans are at work. I am potty trained and never have accidents. I love doing puzzles and have mastered the art of finding hidden treats! I am very food motivated and easy to train. I learned this week that when I sit in the elevator all the way down, I get a treat so now I do it without anyone even telling me! Oh and did I mention I’m handsome too! And I look great in my cowboy hat. I am perfect for a first time dog owner who wants the easiest introduction into dog parenthood. I like other dogs well but if they bark at me I get a little scared. I do learn so much from other dogs at the park, like how to chase birds and squirrels! I am very friendly to all humans. I love going to Central Park and going on coffee dates with my foster mom. I pick up routines so fast and my foster parents think I really am the perfect pup. Please adopt me!!
