About Kolby Big Loving
Kolby Big Loving has been a clear favorite among staff—everyone roots for this big, sensitive guy. He spent some time in a home recently and did great with people, though meeting the cats was a bit much for him. Now that he’s back at the shelter, Kolby has felt the strain. Since returning, he’s shown a bit more anxiety and sadness, which shelter life isn’t helping. Kolby is clearly happier in a home. He’s a sweet, gentle soul with a face that reminds people of a cuddly bear. If you can give him space as the only pet, he’ll reward you with loyalty and a desire to stick close—he just wants to be with his people. Walks, playtime, and zoomies are high points, but Kolby will gladly crash on the couch with you, content just being near. He’s fully housetrained and knows basic commands like sit, down, and shake. With a history of paw sensitivity, a home with older children (10+) is best. At about three years old and 84 pounds, Kolby has all his vetting done and is ready to go. If you’re considering fostering, even short-term, Kolby would benefit hugely—a break from the shelter could lift his spirits in a big way. Whoever gives him a chance will meet a truly rewarding companion. Kolby just needs one person to help him shine again. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
