About Kolby Big Loving

Kolby is a true staff favorite and recently spent time in a home where he did wonderfully with people—he just got a little too excited about meeting the resident cats. Because of that, he’s back at the shelter, and it’s been hard on him. Since returning, he’s been more anxious and a little down… and we don’t want kennel stress to dim this very good boy’s light. We know Kolby will thrive in a home. He just needs someone to give him that chance—whether it’s a forever family or even a temporary foster to help him decompress. Kolby is a sweet, sensitive soul (with a face that looks like a cuddly little bear 🐻). He loves to play, zoom around with his toys, and then settle in close to his people for some well-earned snuggles. He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be with you—loyal, loving, and always ready to brighten your day. Here’s what makes Kolby so special: • Enjoys walks & playtime but also happy to chill on the couch • Housetrained and knows basic commands (sit, down, shake) • Would do best as the only pet in the home • Suggested for kids 10+ due to some sensitivity from a past paw injury • 3 years old, 84 lbs of love, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped Kolby isn’t asking for much—just a safe place, kind people, and a chance to be the amazing companion we already know he is. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, this is your sign. Even a short break from the shelter could make all the difference for him. And if you’re ready to open your heart for good… Kolby is ready to love you for a lifetime. Please consider being the one who makes Kolby’s one wish come true. 🐾 Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible.
